CAMBRIDGE, MASSACHUSETTS, U.S.A. — Two long-established strategy consultancies specializing in serving private equity investors and their portfolio companies - Lambay Advisors, LLC (“Lambay”) and Daymark Consulting, LLC (“Daymark”) - have merged to form Bantry Partners. The new firm will be led by the founders of Lambay and Daymark and, as Bantry Partners, will continue to provide strategy consulting and market diligence services for middle-market PE investors and their portfolio companies across a variety of industries.

Both Lambay and Daymark were founded in the early 2010s to provide strategy consulting and market diligence services tailored to the needs of middle-market PE investors and their portfolio companies. The merger of the two firms to create Bantry Partners solidifies their long partnership. 

Bantry will continue to serve private equity clients and their portfolio companies through its expanded scale, broader industry and client experience, and streamlined processes. Combined, the new team can leverage decades of experience and hundreds of engagements across a variety of industries.

Ken Beausang is a seasoned consulting professional with deep expertise in market research, private equity and strategy consulting. Prior to founding Lambay, Ken spent 7 years at another boutique private equity consulting firm where he led consulting engagements for private equity investors and corporate clients in a diverse set of industries. Previously, Ken spent 10 years in the enterprise software industry in senior sales and marketing positions driving revenue for growth-stage software companies.

For ~20 years Bill Sones has managed client engagements including market diligence cases for private equity clients and strategy reviews for their portfolio companies. He has led efforts for PE clients in industries as diverse as financial services, manufacturing, industrial services, software / technology, and insurance services. Prior to founding Daymark, Bill led engagement teams at Monitor Group, a leading strategy consulting firm, and other leading boutique private-equity focused consulting firms.
